when we lived in new haven, one of our neighbors was a religious israeli jew
on Rosh Hashana, the jewish new year, a kid knocked on his door and said. ‘sorry sir, i played in the yard and broke your car door window’. the friend, named, Hizki (daber halash), thanked the boy for doing that which is not trivial. However, as a religious jew, Hizki could not drive the car and fix the broken window as the new-year-day is a Sabbath.
the kid told his dad about it and the dad decided to take the car and fix the broken window. all was done that within hours.
