Cityseed Farmer’s Market – operates four days a week in neighborhood locations, the first and largest is in Wooster Square at the Corner of Chapel Street and DePalma Court, every Saturday from 9:00 am –1:00 pm

New Haven Museum: 112 Whitney Avenue, adjacent to campus, with a good collection and interesting special events, including the Tour de New Haven bike ride on September 20

Criterion Cinemas: 86 Temple Street between Crown and George Streets, seven screens showing first-run box office hits and art films

Ninth Square (bounded by Church/Chapel/State/George between the Green and train station)

Artspace: exhibition space for emerging artists, galleries at 50 Orange Street, corner of Crown. Organizes annual Citywide Open Studios, a great way to explore town and meet artists: opening celebration October 2, 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm and open studios throughout town on October 3, 4, and 5.
